Mr. Kassim Y. Kassim has over 40 years of professional experience in the field of petroleum engineering with a consistent record of reliable service, significant achievement, and professional advancement. He is familiar with all aspects of the oil exploration and production value chain, and especially skilled in modern deep-water exploration techniques.

 Kassim graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) in May 1974 with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering. Over the course of his 40-year career, he worked in the private and public sectors, domestically and abroad. He was a Senior Drilling/completion Engineer and Acting Drilling Superintendent for one of the major petroleum corporations responsible for designing, drilling, planning, and completion/workover of onshore and offshore wells in domestic and overseas areas.

After working in the private sector for 11 years, Kassim began a successful career with the Bureau of Land Management & Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement in Unites States Department of the Interior. Over the course of 26 years, he served in a variety of roles ensuring major oil & gas corporations complied with regulations and implemented best safety practices, secured government interests, and effectively communicated regulations to all necessary stakeholders.

Kassim retired in January 2018 and currently operated in the Real Estate business. When he is not finding the perfect home for his clients, he enjoys spending time with family and working on do-it-yourself home projects.
