Palestinian American Society of Engineers

The Palestinian American Society of Engineers (PASE) provides competitive scholarships to our members in full-time undergraduate programs to support their academic and professional goals. Our scholarships are made possible by PASE through the generous contributions of our donors

Applications are open to full-time students in Engineering and Computer Science/Information Technology programs. 

Recipients can be eligible for a scholarship worth up to $4,000 per year for up to 4 years as long as the student maintains good academic standing per the terms and conditions 

 

Eligibility Criteria: 

To be eligible for a scholarship through PASE, you must meet the following requirements: 

  1. Enrolled in a full-time program with a declared major in Engineering or Computer Science/Information Technology at a university within the United States or in Palestine
  2. Identify as Palestinian
  3. Must demonstrate financial need 
  4. Must maintain at least a 3.0 GPA each quarter/semester and be able to submit proof of good academic standing to PASE as requested. 

Application Process: 

  1. Provide proof of admission to a full-time program in Engineering or Computer Science/Information Technology. Please provide your admission letter and if you are not in your first year, provide an unofficial transcript from your university. 
  2. Submit proof of funding already received with a link to your university’s cost of attendance to demonstrate financial need. 
  3. A letter of recommendation from a counselor or professional in the field 
  4. Complete the scholarship application form: (click to apply) button below which will require:
  1. Uploading your proof of admission and/or your unofficial transcript from your university
  2. An essay answering the following question: “What does your Palestinian identity mean to you and how would a scholarship from PASE be beneficial to your academic and professional goals?”

Applications must be submitted electronically via the form below. Applications will be reviewed by the PASE Academic Committee and will be considered as funding allows. 

If I am chosen as a recipient of a scholarship from PASE, I understand that in order to maintain my scholarship, I must: 

  • Remain in good academic standing each quarter/semester.
  • Maintain full-time status each quarter/semester
  • Participate in PASE activities and respond to communications received via email as needed.
