Dr. Alsamara

Dr. Khalid Alsamara, Ph.D., is a Professor of Management Information Systems (MIS) in the College of Business at Chicago State University, Chicago, Illinois, since 2001 and has over 30 years of experience in the IT field primarily in the areas of information systems, networking, natural language processing, and databases. Dr. Alsamara is very active in the IT community. He has published, reviewed, and presented many technical papers presented at numerous conferences and technical journals. Prior to joining Chicago State University, he was on faculty at DeVry University, Robert Morris College and worked several years as a Network Engineer at the Illinois Institute of Technology. 

EDUCATION

Prior to joining Chicago State University, Dr. Alsamara received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1996 and holds M.Sc. in Computer Science from Western Michigan University in 1992 and B.Sc. in Computer Science from Yarmouk University Jordan in 1985.
