Osama A. Amous, Ph.D.

Dr. Osama Amous is an Adjunct Faculty of Management Information Systems and Analytics at Franciscan Missionary of Our Lady University (FRANU) and an Information Technology Specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the government administration industry for over twenty-nine years of experience in information technology. A former Adjunct Faculty of Industrial Engineering Project Management at Louisiana State University (LSU). His research emphasis lies in decision analysis, Data Recovery, Retirement, and healthcare process improvement for government employees, and Human Computer Systems and Interaction. He holds a doctoral degree in Engineering Science and a Minor of Information Systems and Decision Science (ISDS) from Louisiana State University (LSU), and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering, from the Louisiana State University (LSU), and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, from Southern University (SU). His doctoral work focused on the decision analysis area of determination of Retirement Decision Making Factors.                    

Dr. Amous is married with two sons and two daughters, three of whom are engineers.

Dr. Amous is a member of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, International Society Occupational Ergonomics and Safety (ISOES), Alpha Pi Mu, and Louisiana Council of Information Services Directors (CISD).
